First memorial day at Downham Grange nursing home

Families of past residents at Downham Grange paid a return visit to the care home in Clackclose Road, Downham Market, on Saturday for a special memorial event.

More than 15 people attended the home’s first Memorial Day and took part in a simple ceremony to pay respects to their loved ones.

Colne House celebrates glowing CQC report

Staff at Colne House residential care home in Station Road, Earls Colne, are proud to have maintained their good Care Quality Commission (CQC) rating. The inspectors who visited the Kingsley Healthcare run home last month found the service to be good overall and good in four of the regulator’s five categories, judging it to be caring, effective, responsive and well-led.

Families and friends of past residents at Downham Grange, in Clackclose Road, Downham Market, are invited to the nursing home’s inaugural memorial day on Saturday, July 20, from 2.30pm. A simple ceremony will be led by lay preacher Steven Reid, a regular visitor to the Kingsley Healthcare run home from the town’s Evangelical church.
