I have worked in care for over 20 years, progressing through the ranks to Home Manager in April this year. I'm a proactive, adaptable and professional person who excels in problem solving and love meeting new people. Yaxley House is where my heart lies and the residents are at the centre of everything that I do. In my spare time, I enjoy walks in the countryside and kayaking on the river Waveney.

George Matthews

Hospitality Manager

I have spent many years in the hotel and restaurant industry within senior management teams delivering 5 star service, driving forward to improve standards and ensure happy staff & customers. I joined the team at Yaxley House to deliver high end service for the residents here and endeavour to meet and exceed families' expectations. Outside of work, I play badminton and have written music for artists and films across the world.

Michelle Burridge

Home Administrator

With over 10 years experience in the care sector, I began work as an administrator for Kingsley in February 2020, starting at The Depperhaugh and moving to Yaxley House in 2023. I love the staff and residents here and the outside spaces are beautiful too. I enjoy camping/caravanning and socialising with family and friends outside of work.

Amanda Tungate

Activities & Lifestyle Co-ordinator

I started in care over 20 years ago as a carer due to my Grandmother's diagnosis of dementia. From observing my nan's journey with her dementia and nearly losing her due to depression at home, she came back to life when in care...that was my lightbulb moment. I have since spent many years in management within care settings and feel it's the best decision I ever made. The amenities and outside courtyard at Yaxley House improves our residents wellbeing giving them and their families the freedom they need. As a wife, mum and grandmother born and raised in Enfield, my passion is being out in the countryside with my four Labradors and my family.

Tony Holland

Regional Operations Manager

Prior to joining Kingsley, I served in the Army for 26 years, planning and delivering healthcare around the world, and then spent two years as an operational manager in a major NHS hospital. I am delighted to have joined a team that really does feel like a caring family, where everyone wants to be proud of the care they provide. Although I am familiar with the region, my travels to my 10 homes across Suffolk and Essex frequently bring new places to subsequently explore with my family and our dog, Frankie.

Zoe Kirk

Operations Manager

I have worked within the NHS and Social Care throughout my nursing and management career. I have been a Registered Manager commissioning a variety of care homes for older people, and supported care homes requiring direction and development. I was attracted to Kingsley as it is a family-orientated company which respects residents and team members as individuals. Outside of work, I am an ardent football fan and have watched Cambridge United through the highs and lows in all weathers!

Samantha Wallis

Service Quality Manager

I have worked in the sector for 24 years in both care homes, where I became a registered manager, and home care. Immediately prior to joining Kingsley I was a Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager. Visiting Kingsley’s care homes, I have been impressed by the dedication of staff who have shown their commitment to improving quality. Outside of work, I keep fit by cycling and taking my puppy for walks.
