Nursing home staff put best feet forward to fund a festive treat

Staff at a nursing home are going that extra mile to make sure residents enjoy a Christmas treat. Downham Grange maintenance man Adam Titcombe, 30, head chef Natalie Morton, 38, and senior carer Mandy Munden, 35, will be completing a 13-mile walk on Saturday, October 29 to raise funds for a residents’ outing to the King’s Lynn Corn Exchange’s seasonal pantomime Cinderella.

A memorial fund launched after the tragic death of a teenager has given a boost to the football ambitions of young people at a learning disability home. Gary and Elaine High of Lowestoft started fundraising in memory of son Taylor, 19, who was killed in a car crash in 2011.
