An appeal has been launched to help a Suffolk family coping with a severely autistic child who is unable to sleep through the night. The Moore family, from Framlingham, find night-times an exhausting ordeal due to the complex needs of their four-year son Rhys, who only sleeps for 90 minutes at a time.

Staff at a care home in the heart of the Broads are holding a fundraising event for a charity close to the hearts of residents. Heron Lodge, in Norwich Road, Wroxham, is inviting pensioners to a tea party with entertainment on Tuesday, January 12 and is holding a voluntary collection for the Nancy Oldfield Trust.
