The project has been developed over considerable time to ensure exceptional quality and precision of delivery at every level.
Twenty years of providing the highest quality care to residents within its care homes has provided a solid foundation from which to expand into home care services; the new business, headed by Kingsley co-founder Sumi Thayan as CEO, will focus on the provision of home care and live-in care.
The service will be launched in Cheshire, initially targeting the private pay market; it will subsequently be rolled out to further hubs including Ipswich, Bournemouth, Bucks and Berks.
Mrs Thayan said: “We are tremendously excited to be building on the Kingsley brand during our 20th anniversary year and expanding into new avenues of health care.
“As we have done with the Kingsley Healthcare offering we want Kingsley Home Care Services to make a real impact and difference to the communities we serve. Subject to regulatory approval, we plan to be ready by the early summer.”
Service Quality Director Lisa Brown said: “I am excited about the potential of our new business and keen to use my experience in the home care market.”
Chief Financial Officer Matt Herring commented: “Our ambition is to grow the business as a credible alternative to competition currently available. Within two to three years, we will be looking to employ 200 to 300 staff.”
Wasantha Darshana, IT and marketing director, said his team was currently planning what would be a cutting edge, tech-based support platform for the new business.
