An opening date is set to be announced for King’s Court Nursing Home which has been built by Norfolk contractor RG Carter in Hempstead Road, Holt.

Before the 66-bedroom home takes in its first resident, people will have the chance to inspect the fabulous facilities during a special open week.

Home manager Julia said: “We will shortly be announcing the date of our open week on our King’s Court Facebook page and our website page  https://kingsleyhealthcare.co.uk/care-homes/kings-court-care-home/

“I would love to show people around and advise on any care needs your family may have. It will be a fantastic opportunity for me to get to know the local community.”

King’s Court has become the flagship luxury home of UK top 20 ranked large care home group (carehome.co.uk) Kingsley Healthcare which began in East Anglia and is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary year.

The home has 66 luxury bedrooms, including larger premium rooms, some with terraces or garden access.

Facilities include a hairdressing and therapy salon, cinema, library, community café and private dining room.

A top team of interior designers have ensured the décor and furnishings of the home match the quality of the building.

Two acres of landscaped gardens include a delightful woodland walk with wheelchair access.

As well as providing a much-needed facility for quality nursing, residential and respite care, King’s Court will also eventually create more than 80 well-paid jobs giving a considerable boost to the local economy.

The care home was designed by Kingsley’s Group Design Director Rob Patkai who said: “We are proud to be delivering our vision of a truly next-generation home, built with resident wellbeing in mind.

“Its convenient location on the edge of town provides easy access to all parts of north Norfolk.”

Kingsley’s Chief Investment Officer Muj Malik said: “We are delighted to have worked on our first project with RG Carter who bring the same values as a trusted family business in the region. We hope this will be just the beginning of a long and successful relationship with them.”
